QA Analyst | Global Voucher Group Limited | Soho, London | 2016/12 - Present

Following on from my previous role, I took advantage of an opening within the tech team in December 2016. The new role requires me to test a selection of websites, including MyVoucherCodes. It involves a mix of both automated and manual testing in an Agile environment.

In summary, my job is to investigate the websites for defects using Chrome DevTools and my own intuitions. Automated testing was recently introduced, where basic functions of the site were tested using Selenium WebDriver. The role also requires occasional API testing using Postman. Bugs and features are logged in Jira, which I use to manage new and outstanding issues, including writing test scripts and liaising with internal departments for feedback on fixes.

Content & Inventory Executive | Global Voucher Group Limited | Soho, London | 2015/10 – 2016/12

My role involved the management of content on www.myvouchercodes.co.uk, making sure it is all relevant and up-to-date. This includes maintaining pages for some of the biggest retailers in the UK, such as Argos, House of Fraser, Debenhams, Waitrose among many more.

Digital Content Administrator | COINS | Slough, Berkshire | 2014/04 – 2015/10

As a digital content administrator I was tasked with the maintenance and development of two websites. The first is www.e-xact.net, which involves collating information and building a rich database of products used in the construction industry by builders' merchants, such as Travis Perkins, Jewson, Buildbase etc. The second is www.e-xact.co.uk, which is a marketing website that supports product manufactures by issuing PR articles.

In summary my job role involved the following skills:

  • Webpage development, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Customer Service Assistant | Sainsbury's Supermarket Ltd | North Finchley, London | 2011/11 – 2014/04

In summary my job role included attending to customer queries, store inventory management, such as new orders and correcting existing inventory, and the maintenance of wastage to ensure it is all within budget.
